Welcome to "Life by Leashes"—a story of betrayal, resilience, and the relentless pursuit of dreams. There was a moment when everything I thought I knew fell apart. I was let go from what I believed was my dream job—one I’d worked so hard for and helped shape my future. The promise of a position, a new beginning, vanished in an instant, leaving me feeling incredibly betrayed and lost.

With one door closing, I broke down several other doors to pursue the dream of saving animals and helping their owners. Instead of crying over spilled kibble, I decided to create my own path, one not already predetermined by an already mentally taxxing field known to be veterinary medicine. I threw myself, head first into veterinary school and started Brittney Lee Pet Care shortly after, blending my passion with my education. It hasn’t been easy, but every step has led me closer to my dream, to many new friends & your adorable pets!

This blog is where I share that journey with you—the challenges, the lessons, and the wins. Life may knock us down, but we always have the choice to rise again.
